The Australian Solar Cooling Interest Group (ausSCIG) will be
holding its second event for 2009 at Melbourne’s Royal Australasian
College of Surgeons on December 8.
International solar cooling expert Dr. Sanjeev Jain will deliver the
plenary presentation on his research and the development of the
solar cooling industry in India.
Other speakers include Ric Brazzale, Director of Green Energy
Markets and Dr. Paul Kohlenbach, Director of Solem Consulting.
Sustainable energy industry expert Ric Brazzale will address the
critical topic of market support schemes for renewable energy
technologies - such as solar cooling - in particular VEECs, RECs and
ESCs.
Dr. Paul Kohlenbach will explain how the economics of PV vs. Thermal
stack up in Australia, and will also provide a wrap-up of the recent
3rd International Solar Cooling Conference which was held in
Palermo, Italy.
In addition to the conference program, a Solar Cooling Crash Course
workshop will be held on December 7 for those seeking an overview of
the technical, economic and bigger picture aspects of solar cooling.
The course will also provide design tips and technical case studies
for industry specialists.
